HVAC Project Foreman - Commercial & Residential

Location: Northport, Alabama (travel throughout the Southeast U.S. required)

We’re looking for a motivated HVAC Project Foreman to lead field crews, coordinate projects, and ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Communication

  • Lead field crews on commercial and residential projects
  • Clearly explain technical details to technicians, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure project goals and safety protocols are understood and followed
    Project Management
  • Plan and schedule manpower, equipment, and materials
  •  Monitor progress to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Anticipate challenges and create contingency plans


Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct daily safety meetings (“toolbox talks”)
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards
  • Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and building codes
    Technical Expertise
  • Troubleshoot HVAC system issues in real time
  • Review work before inspections to minimize punch lists
  • Provide practical solutions that reduce downtime and rework


Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and inspectors
  • Provide timely updates on project progress and issues
  • Build strong relationships through professionalism and accountability


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HVAC installation experience (commercial and residential preferred)
  • 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role
  • Strong knowledge of ductwork, refrigeration, piping, and controls
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety requirements (OSHA 30 preferred)
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
